H2O is a punk rock band formed in New York in 1995.Prior to the formation of H2O, in the early-mid 1980's, Todd Morse and Rusty Pistachio were part of the speed punk band "Roadside Petz". This band featured Wayne Williams on drums.While touring as a roadie for Sick of It All, Toby Morse would sometimes sing with the band during encores. In 1995 Morse decided to start his own band and formed H2O in the Lower East Side of Manhattan . The band toured relentlessly through most of 1995 and 1996, opening up for almost every hardcore band that hit the east coast, including an opening slot on a Rancid bill, at the Roseland Ballroom. Another huge show was when the band opened for No Doubt at Tramps (NYC) on Easter in 1996. In January 1996 they would record their self titled CD at Brielle Studios-NYC and would release it in May. The CD was basically all the songs they had and would play out at the time. They would tour that whole summer with Shelter and Murphys Law. H2O performed at CBGB's in October of that year and recorded a video for "Family Tree". They also toured with Social Distortion in October '96.
In June 1997 H2O quickly recorded and released "Thicker Than Water" in October. They toured all over the world until the end of the year and through 1998. In the year 1997 they would open for Misfits, Pennywise, Sick of It All, CIV and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Warped Tour 98 and 99. They would tour Japan for the 1st time in 1997 & return in 1998. They received MTV play with "Everready".

All is an American punk band originally from Los Angeles, currently residing in Fort Collins, Colorado, formed by Descendents members Bill Stevenson, Karl Alvarez, and Stephen Egerton.All formed in suburban Los Angeles in 1987 when Milo Aukerman, the lead singer of The Descendents, left to pursue a graduate degree in biochemistry, forcing the band into a hiatus. The remaining members, guitarist Stephen Egerton, bassist Karl Alvarez, and drummer Bill Stevenson decided to carry on as a band, adopting the title of the Descendents’ last studio album, All, as their official moniker.
Enlisting former Dag Nasty and DYS singer Dave Smalley on vocal duties, All released their first two albums in 1988: Allroy Sez and the EP Allroy for Prez (both distributed by Cruz Records) to critical acclaim. In 1989, Smalley left the band, and new vocalist Scott Reynolds joined. With Reynolds, All released four more albums: 1989’s Allroy's Revenge (which included the single She's My Ex), 1990’s Allroy Saves, 1992’s Percolater, and the 1990 live album Trailblazer.

RIOT 111

RIOT 111 was a New Zealand political punk band active from 1981 to 1984 often associated with anarcho-punk. The group was formed by two political activists, singer "Void" and drummer "Roger Riot", during the South Africa national rugby union team's infamous 1981 tour of New Zealand. The members of Riot 111 were Brown Squad protesters who were involved in running battles with the police's Red Squad outside the apartheid South African rugby union games.

Void and Roger Riot recorded with guitarist Nick Swan and bassist Mark Crawford and their first song "1981" was based on the Haka of the All Blacks. It became an instant hit rising to eighteen in the national charts considered the 12th most important song ever written in New Zealand music history by "Rocked the Nation" documentary series 2009. This instant fame required the band to perform live, something they had not yet done. One of their first performances, in Wellington, caused a riot at Victoria University of Wellington. This caused them to be banned from playing any commercial venues and forced the band to hire small school halls. Void was constantly attacked on stage by girls who would strip him of his clothes and left him to perform semi nude.

London SS

London SS were an early British punk rock group founded in March 1975 by guitarist Mick Jones and bassist Tony James. The band spent most of their short history auditioning potential members. Besides Jones and James, however, guitarist Brian James (not related to Tony) was the only other semi-permanent member. Other musicians who played with them included Matt Dangerfield and Casino Steel, then of The Hollywood Brats, who would later go on to play in The Boys.
Many other notable musicians tried out for the band but did not make the cut including future members of The Clash, Paul Simonon and Terry Chimes. Another future Clash member, Nicky "Topper" Headon, was asked to join but declined. Rat Scabies, future drummer for The Damned played with the band even though he was in his own protopunk band, Rot, at the time. Roland Hot also served as drummer. Punk poet Patrik Fitzgerald also claims to have auditioned for the band.

Lunachicks

Lunachicks were an all-women punk rock band from New York City.The band formed in 1987 and has been on hiatus since 2000. Their music was described as "a frenzied mix of punk, metal, pop and rock". The band claimed influences including The Ramones, Kiss, and the MC5.
Theo Kogan, Gina Volpe, and Sydney "Squid" Silver were students at New York City's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts when they decided to form a band. Sindi Benezra, an acquaintance of Silver's, was asked to join shortly after. They rehearsed and wrote material in Gina's bedroom for about a year. Their first ever composition, the lengthy "Theme Song", was about killing Kogan's and Silver's English teacher. The band played their first show in 1988 with Theo's then-boyfriend Mike on the drums. Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth were amongst the audience for one of their early performances. Gordon and Moore were impressed with the band and sent a demo tape to Paul Smith in England, which landed them a deal on Smith's label Blast First. With drummer Becky Wreck (Susan Rebecca Lloyd) on board they released a self-titled 4-song EP in 1989 and the full-length Babysitters on Acid[4] (both produced by Wharton Tiers). The record was only available in Europe until it was re-released on Go-Kart Records in 2001. The band later expressed their strong dislike for the albums production and the fact that they did not earn any money from Blast First.[5] The band went on to tour with The Dictators in 1991.

The Apostles

The Apostles are an experimental punk rock band who developed within the confines of the 1980s Anarcho Punk scene in the UK, but did not necessarily adhere to the aesthetics of that movement.The Apostles were formed in the Islington area of London in 1979 by William 'Bill' Corbett, Julian Portinari, Dan McIntyre and Pete Byng-Hall. This line-up of the group did not play any concerts, and only appeared in a small number of fanzines (including Paroxysm Fear and New Crimes) before Bill Corbett left the group.
Andy Martin (ex-Black Flag / Carnage) joined as vocalist in late 1981, and the group played their first concert on 22 September 1981. This line-up of the group recorded a demo tape - 'The Apostles' - in late 1981.The music of the group is generally characterized by a varied eclecticism which encompasses punk, Blues Rock, Industrial music (with influences like Lemon Kittens, Nocturnal Emissions and Five Or Six cited), and more abstracted avant garde experimentation.
The remaining founder members of the group left the group in early 1982. Martin recruited Dave Fanning (ex-Innocent Bystander) as bassplayer, along with a revolving line-up of musicians (which included John Soares, Kev Apostle, Flump, Chris Low (ex-Political Asylum) and Olly Bucket (Eat Shit) ) in order to continue the group who went on to play numerous concerts in the London area, and to record 8 demo cassettes and 4 7" singles between 1982 and 1984.

The band is widely regarded for making street punk music popular in Poland, and for their non-political stance, which had a novel feeling in the Polish punk rock scene of the 90s.In the early 1995 three members of a ska band Dr. Cycos came into a rehearsal hall situated in Bronx pub, Szczecin to work on several songs which were supposed to be in a traditional punk rock style. The Partisans were a punk rock band formed in Bridgend, in South Wales in early 1978, when all four members were in their early teens. They continued until 1984, having several hits on the UK Indie Chart. The band re-formed in the late 1990s.The band formed in early 1978, with an original line-up of Phil Stanton (vocals), Rob "Spike" Harrington (guitar and vocals), Andy Lealand (guitar), Mark "Shark" Harris (drums), and Mark "Savage" Parsons (bass guitar). Parsons and Stanton left in 1979, with Spike moving to lead vocals, and Lealand's girlfriend Louise Wright joining on bass.
Influenced by the likes of the Sex Pistols, The Clash, and The Ramones, the band started off covering punk rock hits and soon started to compose their own material. They were the second band signed to Chris Berry's No Future Records label, and their debut release, the double A-sided Police story/Killing machine was released on 28 September 1981. Paula left the band before the release of the Rasana 7" EP and was replaced by Dominique Davison.

No Ca$h

No-Cash (or No Ca$h) was an American punk rock band that formed in 1999. No-Cash consisted of four members that were as follows: Big C (also known as Chris Cash) on lead vocals and guitar, Judd (lead guitar), The Fang (bass guitar), and Arms Of Fury (Kellen Hathaway) (drums). The latter three also performed backing vocals and have all adopted stage names as shown. Despite constantly being compared to the Crack Rock Steady Seven and especially Leftöver Crack due to musical and lyrical similarities, No-Cash originated in Pennsylvania rather than New York and as such had its own unique members. In 2005, No-Cash disbanded due to "differences within the band" – their website went down and no further explanation was ever given.
No-Cash was formed in 1999 in Nazareth, Pennsylvania under Big C, No-Cash's frontman and guitarist.

Combat 84 were an English Oi! band active during the early 1980s. Formed in 1981 in Chelsea, London by skinheads Chris 'Chubby' Henderson and John Deptford, Combat 84 rose to national prominence after being featured in a controversial 1982 BBC Arena documentary about the skinhead movement.The band was originally composed of Henderson (vocals), Deptford (bass guitar), Jim (guitar) and Brownie (drums) and played their first gig supporting The Last Resort at the Walmer Castle, Peckham. The Last Resort's lead singer, Roi Pearce (later of The 4-Skins) liked the band and agreed to produce a two-song demo tape with them.National controversy erupted around the band in the tabloid and music press after they were featured in a 1982 BBC Arena documentary, during which Henderson made a racist statement about black people. It was a view not shared by the other band members; in the same documentary, Deptford commented on the similarity in living situation between black and white working-class youths in early 1980s Britain. Footage of crowd violence at a gig was also broadcast in the documentary.

Dogsflesh are an English street punk band, formed in May 1982 by guitarist Rob Moore. Dogsflesh were early pioneers of English hardcore punk, often nicknamed "UK82", and were heavily influenced by The Exploited, GBH, Discharge, and Broken Bones.
Their initial line-up consisted of Rob on guitar, Perky on Drums, Jim on bass, and Marty on vocals. This line-up played only a handful of gigs together around the Teesside area, the most namely of which was a support slot to GBH at Middlesbrough’s Rock Garden. The band also recorded a three track demo in November 1982, with tracks called Never Give In, Mad Dog & Destroy. Perky was replaced on the drums by John Lavender in January 1983 and the band played the Swan Hotel Ballroom supporting the UK Subs in March of that year. The line-up changed again when Rob moved to Stockton and replaced Jim and Marty with Tim Whitfield on Bass and John McQuade on vocals.

Career Soldiers was a street punk / hardcore punk band based in San Diego. The band have toured America and Canada with bands like The Casualties, Lower Class Brats, Monster Squad, Clit 45, U.K. Subs, Funeral Dress among others.Formed in August 2002 with Jake on guitar and vocals, Ryan on bass and Brian on drums, the band recorded a demo and in November played their first shows with Thought Riot and Toxic Narcotic, after the mentioned presentations, the band decided to add a guitarist, so Jake could take care only of vocals. In December Derek joins the band, but leave in February 2003, replaced by Ricky. With a more stable formation, the band recorded the Passion for Destruction EP. Despite being a member, Ricky did not take part in the recording of the EP because he felt he didn't know the songs well enough.
When Ricky was ready, the band booked shows with bands like A Global Threat, Lower Class Brats and Clit 45. In late 2003 the band recorded their debut full-length album titled Finding Freedom in Hopelessness, released in September 2004 by ADD Records, label property of Mark Civitarese, best known as Mark Unseen, vocalist of the Boston street punk band The Unseen, by the time the band also played shows with The Virus in Reno, Cheap Sex in Corona, and Defiance in Salt Lake City.

Comeback Kid

Comeback Kid (commonly abbreviated as CBK) is a Hardcore punk band from Winnipeg, Canada. Their name comes from a headline in a newspaper about hockey player, Mario Lemieux coming back to the NHL.The band was formed in 2002 by Andrew Neufeld and Jeremy Hiebert who were both members of the band Figure Four, which is currently on hiatus. They were joined by their friends Scott Wade and Kyle Profeta, but CBK was originally intended only to be a side project. Their initial popularity was mainly due to word of mouth within the hardcore scene.The band released Turn It Around on Facedown Records in 2003 before moving to Smallman Records in Canada and Victory Records in the rest of the world the following year. Guttermouth is an American punk rock band formed in 1988 in Huntington Beach, California and currently recording for Hopeless Records. They have released nine full-length studio albums and two live albums and have toured extensively, including performances on the Vans Warped Tour. They are infamous for their outrageous lyrics and behavior which are deliberately explicit, offensive and intended to shock, though usually in a humorous and sarcastic manner. This behavior has sometimes resulted in high-profile problems for the band, such as being banned from performing in Canada for eighteen months and leaving the 2004 Warped Tour amidst controversy over their political views and attitudes towards other performers.
The members of Guttermouth began playing music in various parts of Orange County, California in the early 1980s. Singer Mark Adkins performed in the La Habra punk rock band Republic in 1982 with guitarist and classmate Scott Sheldon. Adkins and Sheldon would remain the only two permanent members of Guttermouth over the next twenty-six years, and some of the songs written by them at this time would later be used in Guttermouth and would remain in their live set throughout their career.

R.A.M.B.O

R.A.M.B.O. (often referred to simply as Rambo) were an American punk rock band based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band identified with the straight edge, anarchist, vegan, crust punk, cyclist and thrashcore movements. Known for hectic live performances, the band toured extensively in the United States, Europe, Australia and Southeast Asia, including several sections of the latter continent previously unvisited by touring Western rock bands
R.A.M.B.O. was formed in 1999 by singer Tony Croasdale (known as Tony Pointless), guitarist Andy Wheeler, bassist Beau Brendley and drummer Jeremy Gewertz, the latter two of whom played in Philadelphia-based hardcore band Kill The Man Who Questions. Croasdale was known in the city's punk rock scene for his involvement with the underground venue Stalag 13, and would later co-run a summer music fest that became unofficially known as the Pointless Fest. Initially, the group performed in camouflage face paint and military fatigue, but following the events of 9/11, ceased this policy in fear of its presenting "the wrong" (ie, a pro-American militancy) message.

The Ducky Boys

The Ducky Boys are a street punk band from Boston, Massachusetts. Since forming in 1995 in the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston, the band has spanned over ten years with two tenures that have led to four full-length albums and over 50 songs. The band derives its name from the name of an Irish street gang in the 1979 movie, "The Wanderers". (There is also another punk band by the same name: The Ducky Boys from Brooklyn, NY formed in the early 1980s and are featured on the "Staring Down the Barrel" compilation, which features over a dozen tracks by very obscure, unknown punk bands from '79 through '83.)
Lead on bass and vocals by band frontman Mark Lind and drums by mainstay Jason Messina, while featuring a rotating cast of guitarists, the band released four full length albums before being placed on hiatus by Lind in early 2007. The band is scheduled to perform in September 2007

Defiance are an anarcho street punk band from Portland, Oregon formed in 1993. Their discography includes five E.P.s, four full-lengths, and one album of out of print and rare songs. They have been sited as major influences on bands such as Anti-Flag and The Unseen.In the winter of 1993, members from the bands Deprived, Unamused and Resist formed the first line-up of Defiance, with Tony and Alaric on vocals, Mike on guitar and vocals, Kelly on bass and Eric on drums. Shortly after, the band entered the studio to record what would later become the first two EPs: Defiance and Burn, both released on Consensus Reality, label property of Kelly, bassist of the band. After releasing the self titled the band did a U.S. tour, shortly after the tour ended Tony left the band, so Mike and Alaric shared vocal duties for the Burn EP.
After the release of the Burn EP the band went to make a short tour in Canada and the U.S. In the fall of 1995 the band did an east coast tour with The Final Warning, The Casualties and The Varukers, later, they went to make a European tour, on which they released their third EP: European Tour 1995, limited to approximately 1000 copies sold at the shows.

Crucifix was an American hardcore punk band from Berkeley, California, active from 1980 to 1984. They were among the most popular acts of the San Francisco hardcore scene of the early 1980s.They were unusual among American punk bands for their strong D-beat and anarcho-punk characteristics, and their 1983 LP Dehumanization is considered a classic of the hardcore subgenre.
Crucifix was preceded by the short-lived band Subsidize Mess, featuring Sothira on bass, Matt Borusso on guitar, and Christopher Douglas on vocals.
Crucifix was founded in 1980 and fronted by Cambodian-born singer Sothira Pheng, whose family had fled the country when the brutal Khmer Rouge seized power. The band's self-titled EP debuted on Universal Records of Berkeley in '81 and was followed by the "nineteen eighty-four" single on the band's own Freak Records in 1982. The band's debut full-length "Dehumanization" on Corpus Christi Records (an offshoot of Crass Records) showcased their extremely fast and overdriven sound and is widely considered to be their definitive work and a cornerstone of political punk.

Bad Brains

Bad Brains is an American hardcore punk band formed in Washington, D.C., in 1977. They are widely regarded as among the pioneers of hardcore punk, though the band's members objected to this term to describe their music. They are also an adept reggae band, while later recordings featured elements of other genres like funk, heavy metal, hip-hop and soul. Bad Brains are also notable as religious followers of the Rastafari movement.Originally formed as a jazz fusion ensemble under the name Mind Power, Bad Brains developed a very fast and intense punk rock sound which came to be labeled "hardcore", and was often played faster and more emphatically than the music of many of their peers. The unique factor of the band's music was the fact that they played more complex rhythms than that of other hardcore punk bands, also adapting non-punk style guitar riffs and solos into their songs.Bad Brains broke up and reformed several times over the years, sometimes with different singers and/or drummers.
